As a part of their commitment to growing their presence across the country, Nations Title has acquired 1st United Title of Tennessee to create the new Tennessee Nations Title Agency. Formerly of 1st United Title and Escrow, Tennessee Nations Title Agency will be run by Charlie Winn and Gib van der Heyden.
With over 31 years of mortgage and title experience between the two of them, Charlie will manage sales and Gib will oversee operations. Nations Title has a rich experience in the Tennessee area going back before the change in the economy, processing transactions through their national centers in Kansas and Ohio. Opening an office in Tennessee will allow Nations Title to build personal relationships with local abstractors, appraisers, notaries and other vendors, pushing them to the forefront of local market changes.
“We felt that we had a great product with outstanding service in our local market, but often times in today’s economy, brokers and realtors are looking towards larger, more established service providers. In partnering with Nations, we feel like we are joining forces with the most established brand in the industry. We are excited about the potential Nations will provide in terms of operating systems, technology, security and relationships.“, said Charlie Winn.
Randy Larson, President of Nations Title, who oversees the expansion of new offices, said, “All of us at Nations were very interested in expanding our footprint in the state of Tennessee, and after meeting Charlie and Gib, we felt we had the perfect resources to make that happen. Charlie and Gib bring a lot of experience, as well as a commitment to customer satisfaction, that make them a great addition to the Nations family. We look forward to working together, and are excited about the opportunities Tennessee Nations Title has in store.”
Nations Title's successful vision of having national service with local expertise has allowed them to service some of the largest banks and servicers across the country in addition to local realtors and mortgage companies.
